Slim 250GB Xbox 360 Now Available In India
Microsoft has unveiled the all new slim 250GB Xbox 360 gaming console for the Indian market.
Ready to support controller free gaming device Kinect, the new 250GB Xbox 360 will sport a smaller enclosure and an angular design and will come with built-in Wi-Fi, Kinect Port and HDMI port. It will have touch sensitive buttons for power and eject functions. With bigger heatsink and two small fans, this new Xbox 360 is said to have quieter operation than its predecessors.

New Castlevania Game To Be Launched On October 5
Konami has announced that the hack and slash game, Castlevania: Lord of Shadow will be released for Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 game console on October 5.
Developed by Mercury Steam and with creative inputs from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, this game is a fresh and re-imagined episode of the popular series that is an epic tale of love, despair and hope. In this game, you’ll get play Gabriel Belmont who’s on a quest to restore The Gold Mask, a relic that can resurrect the dead. Konami boasts that more 50 levels in 3D and bevy of 40 combo attacks to kill the monstrous creatures have been added.

Microsoft Launches Ages of Empires Online
Microsoft has unveiled the decade-old real time strategy game, Ages of Empires online.
Players will get to create a growing online empire with friends, family and other folks who’ll be online. Wrapped with games for Windows LIVE service, users will have to download the builds of the game from the Interwebs. This game would offer co-op as well as player vs player option while playing online.

GamePark Debuts GP2X Caanoo Handheld Gaming Console
The Gp2x family is getting a new member this Summer the Gp2X Caanoo.Optimized for wireless gaming and application the Caanoo is another leap from the current Wiz system, taking open source handhelds to a new level.
The GP2X Caanoo is an open source monster, with a Sega Nomad-esque appearance and the flexibility to play far more games than a standard PSP or DSi ever will. Inside, there’s a 533MHz ARM9 CPU, alongside 128MB of RAM, a 3D GPU, a 3.5″ touch panel joystick controller, an accelerometer and even a vibration function. It can even handle a fair amount of multi-media; DivX, XviD and MPEG4 codecs are all supported, and an SDK and App Store are coming soon.
